Once again, on July 23-29, 2023, the fair and rodeo grounds in Sedan, Kansas will be home to the Chautauqua County Fair, 4-H, and Chautauqua County Rodeo events. Located on Park Avenue in the northwest part of Sedan, the County Fair has something for everyone. People of all ages will enjoy some good clean entertainment, eat first-rate food prepared by local cooks, and view some great exhibits. The fairgrounds are bustling, the people are friendly, and best of all – the fair is free!

It just wouldn't be a fair without a little friendly rivalry between the exhibitors. 4-H’ers and open class exhibitors vie for the grand champion ribbons as they show off their best projects: fashion and flowers, antiques and artwork, crafts and clothing, and of course, some of the best livestock in the State are on exhibit.
