Photography

  1. The removal and sorting of entries will be done by members of the photo committee.  Do not remove your own photos.
  2. Make a list of your entries and put your name on the back of the poster board.  This will help us and you keep track of them.
Please read carefully!
    1. Available space is limited- please mount as listed below.
    2. No framing, matting or decorations are allowed.
    3. Each standard entry must be no smaller than 5x7 and no larger than 8x10 and must be on 11" wide by 14" tall white poster board, no larger or smaller except as specified in #4 below.
    4. Exceptions for "sequence of 3 or more photos which tell a story", poster board can be 22" wide by 14" tall, if needed, for a sequence of 5 or more photos.
    5. Division II- "open class picture with caption"- must list the caption below the picture.
    6. Division II- "Sequence of 3 or more snapshots which tell a story", snapshots can be no larger than 5x7's, but can be smaller.  Poster board on which they are mounted can be 11x14 (standard size) for 3 or 4 photos or 14x22 (maximum size) for 5 or more photos.  Photos should be numbered to indicate sequence.
    7. Photos must be focused and taken by the exhibitor.  Processing and printing of photos can be commercially done or printed by the exhibitor.
    8. A photo which has previously won any prize at this fair may not be entered in any other year.
    9. Chairmen reserve the right to distinguish or combine classes.
    10. Judging will take place on Thursday from 6:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M.
